New academic year, new courses. Registration open for the 2025-26 online courses of Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Icelandic which will begin in October.
For this course, we have expanded our online offerings with new levels, schedules and formats to make it easier for you to find a course that fits you, whatever your level.
Complete two levels in one academic year
If you want or need to advance at a faster pace, either from the basics or if you already have a certain level, with the 64-session Swedish and Norwegian courses you can complete two levels in one academic year (from October to June).
- Swedish: course A1+A2
- Norwegian: course A1+A2
These courses are part of the fast track to learning Swedish and Norwegian, specially designed for those who need to reach an intermediate level in a short time.
C1 and specific courses for advanced levels
This year, at Institut Nòrdic we are once again offering advanced level C1 groups for Swedish and Norwegian. For students with an advanced level of Finnish, we offer one of this year’s novelties: the preparation course for the official examination YKI keskitaso.
The advanced level courses are designed by Institut Nòrdic for students to get the most out of the classes and perfect their skills in communicating in a Nordic language.
- Swedish C1. Thursdays from 20 to 21:45h
- Norwegian C1. Wednesdays from 18 to 19:45h
- Finnish – official YKI exam preparation. Wednesday from 16 to 17:45h
Morning schedule
We have added new morning groups to our Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish courses:
- Level A1: available in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish.
- Level A2: available in Swedish, Danish and Finnish.
- Level B1: available in Swedish
The language of instruction is English.
New courses in English
One of the novelties this year is the possibility of studying the first levels of Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Finnish with English as the language of instruction (instead of Spanish). These courses are in addition to the Icelandic courses which, for some years now, have been offered entirely in English and Icelandic. These groups are designed for those who prefer to study a Nordic language with English as a base language. The entire offer of courses in English can be found in the English version of the website.

Information sessions
