CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

Online Norwegian Teacher (online norsklærer)

Available part-time position as an online Norwegian teacher at a Nordic language school in Barcelona.

The person we are looking for must be a native Norwegian speaker, and should have education and/or experience related to teaching, pedagogy, teaching, language, linguistics, philology or similar. It is not necessary to live in Barcelona as all teaching will be done online in small groups, but we require a relatively high level of Spanish since it primarily concerns teaching at lower levels in Norwegian. Spanish is the language used as an auxiliary language in the teaching, so it is necessary to have the knowledge needed to be able to make oneself understood.

This is a part-time job, and it is therefore fully possible to combine the position with another job. The number of hours may vary, depending on the number of enrolled students.

Contact us by email: martine.hansen@institutnordic.com or phone: 0034 601193312 if you want more information.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Online Faroese Teacher

We are looking for a Faroese teacher.

We want to start teaching Faroese, so we are looking for a teacher for our team. The requirements are to have a university degree, to be a native Faroese speaker and to have experience in education. Institut Nòrdic works entirely online, so although we are based in Barcelona it is not necessary to live in the same city.

The work is part-time and depends on whether there are students interested in studying Faroese. When we find a teacher, we will be more than happy to offer a course and do everything possible to be the first language school in Spain to incorporate this language into its offer.
