Level test

If you already have some knowledge of a Nordic language and aren’t sure which course to choose, at Institut Nòrdic we’ll help you find the right level for you.

Our placement test is 100% online, free, and administered by the coordinator of the corresponding language program. We assess your current knowledge to recommend the course that best suits your level and goals. Once you complete the test, you’ll receive personalized guidance so you can get started with confidence.

How can I request a level test?

To request a placement test, please fill out the form on this page. Just provide your contact information, the language (and level) you’re interested in, and how you’ve studied it so far.

  • The placement test is a mandatory requirement for any student who wishes to enroll in a course at the A2 level or higher and has not previously studied at Institut Nòrdic.
  • The test is free, online, and organized upon request. The person administering the test will be the language coordinator.
  • The sole purpose of the test results is to provide guidance to prospective students; no certificate of proficiency is issued based on the results obtained.
