If you have completed the two initial levels of Icelandic, or have equivalent knowledge, you can continue your training with the B1 level course.
In the third level of Icelandic at Institut Nòrdic, your ability to solve communicative situations on your own will increase. You will also notice that the feeling of being able to communicate fluently has improved considerably. During the B1 course the use of Icelandic in the classroom increases progressively and English becomes a support language. At the end of the course you will obtain the B1 level.
Online classes are held in real time, with interaction with the teacher and other classmates, and you can participate from anywhere in the world.
The environment includes all the essential elements for learning.

In the courses of Institut Nòrdic we work on all the skills for a complete learning process: oral and written expression and comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. Together with continuous evaluation, the course is an uninterrupted learning process.

Right to change groups: If a student cannot attend class for personal reasons, they have the right to attend another group at the same level, provided there are available places. They only need to inform the teacher.
Assessment: continuous assessment with a final grade. Passing the course requires knowledge of the content, attendance at classes (minimum 70%), completion and submission of assignments and homework, and taking all exams.
